UPPER NEATH VALLEY BIOENERGY

This study appraised the options for biomass to fire a CHP plant to provide electricity for a remote valley with no grid link, utilising wood sustainably managed from one of the resident farms in the valley.  Suggestions for community ownership of the scheme and ways to use the heat from the CHP process were also discussed.  Funded by GreenHeat and the Brecon Beacons National Park Sustainability Challenge Fund.
